Strength for Generations I Lose Weight, Healthy Diet, Strength Training, Nutrition, Energized
Are you exhausted by 2 pm, wondering where all your energy went?
Are you feeling disconnected from your spouse because perimenopause and hormonal changes have zapped your energy for intimacy?
Are you too tired to be the patient, present parent you want to be?
Tired of feeling weak and unable to do the physical activities you used to love?
I am so excited you're here!
This podcast will help you reclaim the energy you thought was gone forever, balance your hormones naturally, and rediscover your physical strength so you can live out your calling with confidence.
Hey, I'm Christa Baker, founder of Baker Family Fitness, wife, mom, and Christian health coach.
For years, I was exhausted and struggling with my changing body. My hormones felt out of control, I was too tired to parent well, too drained to connect with my husband, and too weak to serve others and fulfill my calling in life.
I tried extreme diets that left me more confused, workout programs that ignored my hormonal reality, and generic advice that didn't work for my season of life.
Then, my husband and I realized that we needed to work WITH our bodies. We started using strategies that restored our energy, strengthened our relationships, and honored God's design for our bodies.
Now, I have steady energy to serve my family without running on empty, my husband and I feel connected and confident again, and we're modeling healthy stewardship for our children while living fully into our calling.
If you are ready to find solutions that improve your health so you can show up fully as a parent, spouse, and servant...
Real strategies that work WITH your changing body and hormones...
This podcast is for you!
Grab your coffee or your ribeye and open your heart - it's time to build strength for generations.

In this deeply personal episode, I'm sharing how discovering the connection between stored trauma and physical health completely transformed my coaching approach and my own healing journey. This isn't just about understanding trauma - this is about understanding how God designed our bodies to carry our stories and how He can bring healing to every part of us.

Could building faithfulness in small health choices be the key to becoming the person God is calling you to be in every area of your life?

What if the fitness industry has been lying to you about what real strength looks like, and the "look at me" culture is actually keeping you from honoring God with your body?
What if walking away from competitive bodybuilding after just one year could teach you more about biblical manhood than years of chasing vanity metrics?
Could the 24-year-old everyone calls "Unc" be right when he says he'd rather listen to a physically fit pastor than an obese one - and what does that mean for Christian leadership?
In this powerful conversation with Elijah Mundy, I'm sharing why he walked away from bodybuilding's toxic culture and how faith completely reframed his approach to fitness so you can pursue physical strength without getting caught up in vanity while building strength that carries into the next generation.

What if the "healthy" smoothie you're drinking for breakfast has more calories than a Big Mac and fries?
What if your daily coffee shop order and afternoon protein bar are adding over 1,000 extra calories to your day without you realizing it?
Could the synthetic protein in all those "high-protein" processed foods actually be creating inflammation and making it HARDER for you to lose weight?
In this episode, I'm exposing the sneaky calorie traps hiding in foods marketed as healthy options. If you're doing everything "right" but the scale won't budge, this episode will open your eyes to where those extra calories are really coming from - and give you a clear action plan to finally see the progress you deserve.

Are you carrying extra weight that won't budge, crashing every afternoon, and avoiding the mirror because you know you're not the example you want to be for your kids?
What if your low testosterone, belly fat, and energy crashes are all connected to the same underlying problem that has nothing to do with willpower?
Could iron overload be silently damaging your organs and suppressing your hormone production - and is this why men in their 40s are developing diseases that used to show up in their 70s?
David came to me at 47, carrying an extra 40 pounds and crashing at work every day. His testosterone was low, and he was avoiding conversations with his doctor about diabetes and cholesterol medications. Six months later, he's down 35 pounds, his energy is steady all day, and his doctor says his labs look better than they have in 15 years. In this episode, I'm sharing the exact 4-step recovery plan that transformed David's health - so you can stop making excuses and start building the strength and energy your family needs you to have.
