Strength for Generations I Lose Weight, Healthy Diet, Strength Training, Nutrition, Energized

Are you exhausted by 2 pm, wondering where all your energy went?

Are you feeling disconnected from your spouse because perimenopause and hormonal changes have zapped your energy for intimacy?

Are you too tired to be the patient, present parent you want to be?

Tired of feeling weak and unable to do the physical activities you used to love?

I am so excited you're here!

This podcast will help you reclaim the energy you thought was gone forever, balance your hormones naturally, and rediscover your physical strength so you can live out your calling with confidence.

Hey, I'm Christa Baker, founder of Baker Family Fitness, wife, mom, and Christian health coach.

For years, I was exhausted and struggling with my changing body. My hormones felt out of control, I was too tired to parent well, too drained to connect with my husband, and too weak to serve others and fulfill my calling in life.

I tried extreme diets that left me more confused, workout programs that ignored my hormonal reality, and generic advice that didn't work for my season of life.

Then, my husband and I realized that we needed to work WITH our bodies. We started using strategies that restored our energy, strengthened our relationships, and honored God's design for our bodies.

Now, I have steady energy to serve my family without running on empty, my husband and I feel connected and confident again, and we're modeling healthy stewardship for our children while living fully into our calling.

If you are ready to find solutions that improve your health so you can show up fully as a parent, spouse, and servant...

Real strategies that work WITH your changing body and hormones...

This podcast is for you!

Grab your coffee or your ribeye and open your heart - it's time to build strength for generations.

What if your motivation keeps failing not because you are lazy or undisciplined, but because it has been built on the wrong foundation from the start?
What if comparison, competition, and the need for external validation have been quietly polluting your motives and making consistency impossible?
Could building health from your God-given identity instead of someone else's standard be the shift that finally makes everything click?
In this episode, I am sharing how the sixth Beatitude connects directly to the mixed motives and identity confusion that keep faithful families stuck in cycles of inspired starts and frustrated stops, so you can build motivation that is unshakeable because it comes from who God created you to be.
This is Episode 6 of the nine-part series, The Beatitudes of Health, where each episode connects a Beatitude from Matthew chapter 5 to the real-life health challenges that keep families from living the legacy they are called to build.

What if the harshest voice standing between you and your nutrition goals is your own?
What if the shame and guilt you feel after an imperfect meal are actually making it harder to get back on track, not easier?
Could showing yourself mercy be the missing piece that finally restores your consistency with food?
In this episode, I'm sharing how the fifth Beatitude connects directly to the self-criticism cycles that keep faithful families stuck in patterns of perfectionism and rebellion around food, so you can build a peaceful, sustainable relationship with nutrition rooted in grace instead of guilt.
This is Episode 5 of the nine-part series, The Beatitudes of Health, where each episode connects a Beatitude from Matthew chapter 5 to the real-life health challenges that keep families from living the legacy they're called to build.

What if your cravings have nothing to do with willpower and everything to do with hormone signals your body has been sending that you were never taught to understand?
What if the constant hunger you've been fighting is actually your body trying to communicate something important?
Could learning to work with your biology instead of against it be the thing that finally brings peace to your relationship with food?
In this episode, I'm sharing how the fourth Beatitude connects directly to the hormone signals driving your hunger and cravings, so you can stop fighting your appetite and start building a peaceful, sustainable relationship with food.

What if the reason your strength training keeps falling apart has nothing to do with your discipline and everything to do with your approach?
What if the intensity you think is building you up is actually the very thing breaking you down?
Could the secret to getting stronger actually be doing less, more consistently, instead of more, less often?
In this episode, I'm sharing how the third Beatitude connects directly to the all or nothing cycles that keep faithful families stuck in patterns of burnout and restart, so you can finally build strength that is sustainable, consistent, and worth passing on.
This is Episode 3 of the nine-part series, The Beatitudes of Health, where each episode connects a Beatitude from Matthew chapter 5 to the real-life health challenges that keep families from living the legacy they're called to build.

What if the real reason you keep starting over has nothing to do with your diet plan and everything to do with the emotional weight you're still carrying from every previous attempt?
What if unprocessed regret and grief are literally creating a barrier between you and the results you've been working so hard to achieve?
Could the path forward actually require you to feel what you've been avoiding before your body can finally respond?
In this episode, I'm sharing how the second Beatitude connects directly to the emotional blocks that keep faithful families stuck in cycles of starting and stopping, so you can clear the path and build health from a place of freedom instead of fear.
